Industrial Grade Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) Supplier in China
Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) is a pure and transparent silicone fluid with a high flash point, low acid value, and low volatility. It is free of trimethylamine, potassium ions and sodium ions, meets electronic-grade requirements, and demonstrates stable performance in plastics, coatings, electronics, lubricants and industrial processing.
KosNature offers a full range of industrial-grade PDMS oils with viscosity specifications from 5 to 12,500 mm²/s, with specific gravities ranging from 0.915 to 0.970. Different grades are available with flash points above 102°C and above 315°C, specifically designed for manufacturers requiring stable lubrication, gloss, and thermal stability.

What is polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS)?
Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) is a linear siloxane polymer composed of repeating –Si(CH₃)₂–O– units.
It has the following characteristics:
Wide viscosity range;Low freezing point
High flash point ;Good hydrophobic performance
High shear resistance;Excellent lubricity
Very stable viscosity with temperature changes
Low surface tension and strong spreading ability
Due to the extremely high flexibility of the polymer chains, PDMS behaves like a highly fluid silicone oil with highly predictable rheological properties.
Our industrial-grade polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) has three different viscosity ranges: low-viscosity silicone oil with a viscosity of 700 to 3200 mm²/s; medium-viscosity silicone oil with a viscosity of 5000 to 16500 mm²/s; and high-viscosity silicone oil with a viscosity of 28000 to 67700 mm²/s. It is suitable for:
In the cosmetics and toiletries industry, it serves as a skin moisturizer and fabric softener. In the plastic processing industry, it functions as a separator and brightener.
In the automotive and aerospace sectors, it acts as a lubricant.
In the textile and garment industry, it is used as a softener, water repellent, and defoamer. In the leather industry, it serves as a hydrophobic agent, defoamer, and hand feel modifier. In the coatings and inks industry, it is utilized to enhance gloss and smoothness.
In the pharmaceutical and food industry, it is employed as a defoamer and lubricant.
Why Manufacturers Choose Our PDMS (Industrial Grade) ?
The viscosity is extremely stable.
Good shear resistance and excellent temperature stability ensure stable and reliable performance during mixing, extrusion, coating or polymer modification processes.
Low volatility and excellent thermal stability
It can maintain stable performance even under the long-term heating cycles commonly found in plastic and rubber processing.
Electrical insulation and dielectric properties
Suitable for electronic components, cable accessories and precision instruments.
Outstanding lubricity and smooth film-forming properties
Widely used in mold release, mechanical lubrication, textile fiber smoothing and surface modification.
Chemically inert and non-reactive
Compatible with most organic materials, resins, oils and additives.
Inter-batch consistency
It is crucial for production lines that require repeatable performance every time.

Problem–Solution: What PDMS Fixes in Factory Environments
Typical in: plastics, rubber, mold making
Cause: friction buildup, non-uniform melt behavior
Solution:
PDMS reduces friction, improves melt flow, and forms a clean, stable release layer—ideal for injection molding, extrusion, and silicone rubber.
Typical in: coatings, lubricants, inks
Cause: resin shrinkage, uneven film formation
Solution:
PDMS enhances leveling, smoothness, gloss and prevents defects such as orange peel or streaking.
Typical in: electronics, machinery, automotive
Cause: mineral lubricants or organic oils degrade under heat
Solution:
PDMS maintains viscosity and chemical structure even under extended heating cycles.
