Calcium Chloride

Calcium Chloride, also known as calcium chloride, has the following legal numbers: CAS[10043-52-4] (anhydrous), [10035-04-8] (dihydrate). Its molecular formula is CaCl2 (anhydrous). CaCl2·2H2O (dihydrate)

Relative molecular mass: Anhydrous: 110.98 Grade 2:147.01 Properties: Calcium chloride is a white, grayish-white or slightly yellowish block, flake or granular solid, odorless and slightly bitter. It is highly soluble in water.

Calcium chloride solution is a colorless, transparent or slightly turturous liquid, soluble in ethanol (10%), relative density (25), melting point 782℃, boiling point above 1600℃, with strong hygroscopicity. Dry calcium chloride placed in the air will quickly absorb moisture from the air. At room temperature, the substance that crystallizes from aqueous solution is usually hexahydrate. When the casting is heated to 30℃, it dissolves in its own crystalline water. Further heating gradually causes it to lose water. At 200℃, it turns into dihydrate. When heated to 260℃ again, it becomes white, porous anhydrous calcium chloride.

Product application: Nutritional fortifier; Stabilizers and coagulants; Thickener; Processing AIDS; It is also a chelating agent, curing agent, calcium fortifier, refrigerant for freezing, desiccant, anti-caking agent, antimicrobial agent, pickling agent, tissue modifier, and can be used in soy products, light cream, sweet juices and sauces, and jams. Product dosage: Use light cream in appropriate amounts as needed for production. Canned fruit 1.0 Jam 1.0 Canned vegetables 1.0 Use bean products in appropriate amounts as needed for production. Decorative candies (such as craft shapes, or for cake decoration), top decorations (non-fruit; materials) and sweet dressings 0.4; Flavored syrup 0.4 Other drinking water (excluding drinking water from natural sources) : 0.1g/L, with calcium at 36mg/L.
