Industrial Applications and Performance Advantages:
Premium Silica Anti-Blocking Agent for PE Blown Film:
If you are using blown PE film for heavy-duty and agricultural applications, our high-purity amorphous silica is specifically designed for this purpose. It creates a uniform microscopic surface roughness, reducing the contact area between films. Furthermore, it exhibits ultra-low adhesion (< 15 g/cm) during high-temperature summer roll storage. Generally, we recommend an addition as low as 0.15% to maintain film processing stability without causing screw slippage. You can also adjust the addition amount according to the film thickness.
High-Transparency Anti-Blocking Agent for BOPP Packaging Film:
If you want to maintain optical transparency for biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) films, KosNature’s silica additives meet your needs. Our product has a refractive index of 1.46. Our team optimizes the particle size distribution to perfectly match the PP matrix, ensuring that you can control film haze increase to below 1.5%. It supports high-speed automated packaging at speeds exceeding 400 m/min without scratches or dust shedding.
Heat-resistant anti-blocking additive for CPP cast films:
Our synthetic amorphous silica exhibits excellent thermal stability, preventing gel formation and degradation spots. If you wish to improve slitting and printing efficiency after film extrusion, our silica has extremely low static and dynamic coefficients of friction. It exhibits zero weight loss at temperatures up to 600°C.

Frequently Asked Questions (Soalan lazim)
A1: Larger particle sizes will result in higher micro-roughness, significantly reducing adhesion, but will slightly increase film haze. For high-transparency films (Ketebalan < 50 μm), we recommend using 3 μm silica particles, which achieve the best balance between a low coefficient of friction (COF) (< 0.25) and excellent optical transparency.
A2: Ya, we offer free product sample packs ranging from 1kg to 2kg to global plastic film manufacturers and color masterbatch producers for laboratory blown film or cast film tests. Please contact the team at sales@kosnature.com to request a sample immediately.
A3: Of course it applies. Our amorphous silica is a 100% inorganic, safe and inert mineral material. It can be perfectly mixed with bio-based resins such as PLA, PBAT and PHA, significantly enhancing the opening performance of the environmentally friendly film without affecting its final biodegradability or mechanical properties.
